Superintendent's Update

Dear Medway families,

Congratulations again to the students and families of the Class of 2021!  Sunday’s festivities and all of the events leading up to Sunday will live in our memories for a long time.  We wish much success and joy to our students as they enter college, careers, the military, and their next stage of life.  Please know that you always have a home within the Medway Public Schools

With just over one week remaining in our school year, and a heat wave in the area, we ask for continued support of our students to keep them learning, connected, and well in these remaining days.  Please be sure that students are dressed well for warm weather and that they are able to remain hydrated by sending them to school with water bottles.  We have some air conditioned spaces in our buildings and have put in place heat protocols to support student and staff safety over the next few days when temperatures will be especially high.

Please find several updates from the district below.

Sincerely,

Armand Pires, Ph.D.

Superintendent

Guardian and Student Information Changes

MPS would like to advise guardians that the Infinite Campus Parent Portal system provides a mechanism to request changes of email and phone numbers.  Simply select MORE > Family Information from the menu options, then Update on the individual you wish to update.  Please note that address changes can not be made through this system, as they require proof of residency.  Please forward any address changes to parent@medwayschools.org, including a copy for proof of residency.

Senior, Rebecca Chleboski, Receives Recognition

Rebecca Chleboski recently earned a prestigious scholarship from the National Security Language Initiative for Youth  to study Chinese this summer.  In normal circumstances, this would have been an all expenses paid trip to China for the summer to be immersed in the language and culture.  Instead, she will be taking an intensive course this summer virtually. Congratulations to Rebecca on this incredible achievement!
