Dear Medway families,
I hope that this email finds you well. As you may have heard, many organizations have continued to experience difficulty recruiting and hiring staff to ensure full staffing. Unfortunately, the Medway Public Schools is no exception. Since the school year began we have continued to be challenged to fill open positions, and in some cases, have seen rapid turnover of seasoned and newly hired personnel. To further complicate this situation, we have intentionally added positions to ensure appropriate and effective support for students and families. While we recognize that this is occurring throughout our economy, we also recognize that this situation for schools is especially problematic. After 18 months of uncertainty, our children need now, more than ever, stability in their lives. An important element of that stability is the staff they connect and interact with.
We are reaching out today to apprise you of this challenging situation, and to ask for your support. Specifically, we ask that you review the list of currently open positions and if you, or someone you know is currently looking for a position, we encourage you to reach out to our Human Resources Department to learn more.
